She has an extensive experience, for more than 30 years, in a wide range of corporate and capital markets matters, frequently acting in merger and acquisitions and in enforcement proceedings with the Securities and Exchange Commission – CVM and the Central Bank of Brazil – BACEN.
She advises listed companies, regularly, in the structuring of its governance bodies and their compliance with current regulations. Additionally, she advises Boards of Directors of listed and non-listed companies, with regards to corporate and regulatory matters, as well as dispute resolution cases.
She also advises other entities of the securities market, notably investment funds, in simple or complex matters, with respect to their functioning vis à vis regulatory aspects.
She also has a wide experience in privatization processes, having acted in 1999 in the restructuring of the Sistema Telebrás and in the assistance to consortia that won the bid to acquire control of fixed and mobile telephony operators.
She has wide experience in the negotiation of agreements and corporate disputes.
She prepares legal opinions in matters of corporate law and the capital markets.
She participates, actively, in several cases of national and international arbitration, as arbitrator and as counsel.
She was a partner of Motta, Fernandes Rocha Advogados between 1990 and 2016, when Cantidiano Advogados was founded.
Author of articles and chapters in collective works about Corporate Law, Capital Markets and Arbitration.
